PNEUMATICALLY-ACTUATED MAGNETIC MODULES MHM-P
For these MHM-P magnetic modules, the activation and deactivation of the magnetic field is achieved by means of a double-acting pneumatic cylinder. Their main advantage is the ease of installation, as they do not require any power supply, but only compressed air at 6 bar, the usual working pressure of any industrial robot or manipulator. MHM-P modules are safe, because even in case of pressure failure, they stay magnetized, keeping the load firmly clamped. Thanks to their special “V” shaped polar extensions they result to be extremely versatile, as they can also be used to handle tubes or round items. Additionally, flat pole plates are also available. They can be customized in such way as to suit at best the shape of the workpiece to be handled.
