ELECTRO-PERMANENT MAGNETIC MODULES FOR SINKER EDM WITH FIXED CONNECTION
Electro-permanent chuck for medium and fine finishing operations on all types of carbon or alloy steels, tempered and hardened, with direct clamping or with intermediate pole extensions. They have a double alnico structure with no remenance after the demagnetisation cycle.
Electropermanent chuck for high removal rates and/or high productivity in terms of work-pieces per hour, with ALNICo structure plus additional Neodymium magnets, allowing a polarity reversal in a fraction of a second. Suitable for clamping forged work-pieces with rough or deformed clamping surfaces.
The outstanding quality of this model lies in the upper plate, which is fixed on the magnetic chuck to ensure stability. It is mainly used for high precision grinding and is able to clamp extremely well even very thin pieces thanks to dense pole pitch
(over 5 mm) on circular machines. Not suitable for the machining of workpieces with thickness inferior to 2mm and dimensions smaller than 50x 50mm.
It represents the specific solution for thin-walled work-pieces (over 7 mm) and precision circular machining. Not suitable for the machining of workpieces with thickness inferior to 3mm and dimensions smaller than 50x 50mm.
